Active Parent Benefit:

Question:

One of my friends' Blue Card will expire in June 2026, and he also needs to renew his children's 800 +. In this case, will he get 800 + even if his blue card expires in June? What is the criteria?

If the children's TRC or the father's blue card expires mid-year, can we still get 800+ after that? On which document is the 800 + dependent?

Please provide a clear process and any limitations.

Answer-1:

They just need to submit the updated Passport with the new stamp. They will get it.

A stamp is there that means you are legal and ZUS will pay.

Answer-2:

Earlier, it was not specific to blue card validity, but now they are rejecting cases once the blue card validity expires

Answer-3:

If the residence card expires, the 800+ stops, and when you receive a new one, and then you apply for the arrears and get it entirely, sometimes it will work even with a decision too

This is to confirm whether the person is residing in Poland. Some people are moving out and still claiming this.

Answer-4:

At least a red stamp on the passport will give the authority to approve. If the case was rejected, they will retrieve previously missed arrears once the decision letter or red stamp on the passport is submitted. I am doing the same now; my visa will expire in July, and I raised the same concern to ZUS. They suggested I upload the red stamp too. Yes, it is only possible to get 800 into the account once you receive the decision; you upload that document as well. But even if the application is rejected, at least they consider the arrears from the date of application.
